Daniel Spiotta, a local Memphian, is a graduate of The Eastman School of Music, where he studied vocal performance. He is a regional winner of the Metropolitan Opera Contest and The Lotta Lenya Competition, which took him to Japan and Taiwan working as a soloist at all of the major Opera Houses in those countries. He is also a two time Grand Award Winner of the Mid-South Fair.
He has done National Tours of Les Miserables, Titanic, and Jekyll and Hyde. His professional regional theater credits include Les Miserables, Camelot, Carousel, The Full Monty, Beauty and the Beast, Meet Me in St. Louis, Pirates of Penzance, Chess in Concert, and Patent Leather Shoes. He also performed Off’Broadway in the original cast of Asylum, as well as perform as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He has recorded for Disney, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Sony, KFC, Patron, as well as several independent composers in NYC. Television wise he has been seen in Law and Order criminal intent, Gossip Girl, Absolutely Fabulous, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and 30 Rock. His love of singing has brought him back home to pass along all he has learned and experienced to the next generation.
